CROWDFUNDING SPONSORS
MEET OUR SUPPORTERS
We would like to thank everyone who supported us with donations and/or sharing our campaign on their own social media platforms.
In particular, we would like to thank the following companies for their very generous support:
CHC Construction
CHC Construction is a Southend based company which provides a full range of design and build services and property management.
MD Trevor Williams is passionate about providing a service that focuses upon ‘value, collaboration and integrity, with a commitment to high standards of health, safety and environmental protection.’
CHC has been a member of the Organisation for Responsible Businesses since it launched in 2010.
Trevor is also committed to supporting the local community and is a Trustee of Age Concern Southend.
Ticket Tailor
We use Ticket Tailor for our Double Whammy events and find it every bit as efficient, but far more cost effective than using other well-known ticketing options. Rather than adding a booking fee to each transaction, which we would either have to pass on to delegates or cover the cost ourselves, we pay a small fixed fee while the booking is active. We also receive a charity discount.
As MD Jonny White explains on the website:
‘We do not add booking fees to your tickets, which can save up to 95% in costs. We think this is a much fairer approach to ticketing.’
Very importantly, Ticket Tailor is UK based so perhaps a better option to consider from a GDPR/data security perspective?
Grant Maton – Essex Wildlife Trust
Grant made a generous personal donation, but as the Corporate Communication Officer for the Essex Wildlife Trust, an organisation we have close associations with, we would like to thank Grant by acknowledging the great work carried out by this conservation charity.
